FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: torque is transmitted from shaft 3 through tapered drive gear 4 to driven tapered wheel 5. Enhanced torque is transmitted through casing 6 of differential and shafts 7 to satellite gears 8 which act to separate this torque into two flows. One flow is conveyed from engaged gears 9 and 11 to gears 13, shafts 14, and gears 15, and therefrom to driven tapered wheel 16. Subsequent to secondary transformation between gears 15 and 16 the enhanced torque is applied to left semi-axle 17. Second flow is transmitted from satellite gears 8 through coupled gears 10 and 12 to gears 18, shafts 19 and gears 20 to driven wheel 21 and right semi-axle 22. Coupling 23 can be provided between wheels 16 and 21 to improve road tracking capacity. EFFECT: improved design, higher reliability in operation. 1 dwg
