FIELD: log skidding machines. SUBSTANCE: device has frame with guides 5. Secured to the frame is a collector accommodating flexible chain boom 1 with load grip at one end. Drive for extending the boom has the form of sprocket 2. The collector has casing 4 in the form of extended ring with helical through passage for receiving the boom. Outlet of the passage is located in the area of the sprocket, whereas inlet rests in open central zone of the casing. Pull belt 6 has one end connected to the opposite end of the boom, whereas the other end of the belt is secured to drum 3 located in zone 10 of the casing.
