FIELD: noble metals, gold concentration. SUBSTANCE: method involves gold extraction from the mineral acid solutions by extraction with butyl(phenylethynyl)selenide. Method ensures to extract gold from mineral acid solutions decreasing extractant concentration by 10-fold, time extraction is decreased by 2-fold. Copper, zinc, iron, lead, nickel and cobalt under these conditions are remained in the aqueous phase. EFFECT: improved method of gold extraction. 1 tbl
