FIELD: organometallic compounds. SUBSTANCE: invention describes method of synthesis of metal- -derivatives of arabinogalactane by its interaction with metal salt solutions in concentration 0.1-1.0% in the presence of ammonium hydroxide, boiling in water bath for 15 min, filtration and precipitation into alcohol. Salts of cobalt, nickel, chrome, iron, copper and zinc are used as biologically active metals. Invention describes metal-derivatives of arabinogalactane of the formula AG-Me where AG is arabinogalactane; Me means iron, copper, cobalt, nickel, zinc or combination of iron with other indicated metal in the content of metals 0.1-5.0% obtained by the above-mentioned method. Indicated compounds show water-soluble and membranotropic properties. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, valuable properties. 3 cl, 1 tbl
