FIELD: fuel combustion systems. SUBSTANCE: highly viscous liquid fuel (mazut) and fuel gas (gaseous products of oil refining) are admitted to lower part of saturator under a pressure of 0.3-0.6 MPa. Part of gases (mostly high-density hydrocarbons) is dissolved in the liquid fuel, whereas light fractions are retained in fuel mixture in the form of fine bubbles. When the thus obtained fuel mixture (emulsion) and air are injected to burner, gases are expanded due to a sudden pressure differential to vigorously break liquid fuel into fine droplets. The air-fuel mixture is ignited in high-temperature space of the furnace at a distance from the burner to fully burn downstream of the flow. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of combustion. 1 tbl
