FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger employs two different heat-transfer agents in the inter-tube space. Cross-shaped partition in the cover of the casing forms inlet and outlet chambers between the cover and tube sheet for both heat-transfer agents. These chambers are brought in communication with respective bundles of U-shaped tubes and pipe unions. The partition is sealed with the tube sheet by means of flat crisscross gasket made of soft material. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
