FIELD: aerial equipment. SUBSTANCE: insert of aerial is made of radioparent material. Insert is anchored in horn on side of aperture and has shape of two triangles in cross-section positioned in symmetry with reference to axis of horn. System of intercrossing conductors is located on free surface of insert. One side of insert fits surface of horn. For expansion of main lobe in plane H system of conductors is manufactured in the form of equidistantly spaced closed circuits located on free side of insert. Each of them has shape similar to shape of emitting aperture. For expansion of directivity diagram in plane E system of conductors is placed on face part of insert and is formed by radial conductors positioned uniformly. For achievement of effect in plane H it is sufficient to have 3-4 wire circuits adjoining plane of horn aperture. For radial conductors their sufficient number n is determined by inequality (5-10)dp/λ. EFFECT: improved capability to regulate width of main lobe of diagram of horn aerial in one plane and to intermatch position of phase centers of measured field in planes E and H. 6 dwg
