MEANS FOR STIMULATING REPRODUCTIVE FUNCTION AND GROWTH OF ANIMALS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: means is composed of tissue extract from intestines of Japanese trepang (Stichopus Japonicas). Preparation is administered in the form of 1,2 and 3 daily injections in a dose of 0.1 ml per kg of body weight. Chickens receive the preparation with their regular feed in a dose of 0.3 ml per capita per day. Growth-stimulating effect of the preparation depends on kind of animal. It is 6.6 % for chickens, 22 % for white mice and 17% for calves. Two-fold injection of extract to cows favours earlier development of sexual cycles and increases fertilization from 16.3 to 22 %. Three-fold injection of the preparation stimulates the sexual cycles and normalizes reproductive function in cows that were down with endometritis. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 tbl
