FIELD: separating inhomogeneous fluids. SUBSTANCE: hydrocyclone has body 1 with pipes 2,3,4 mounted in the latter for delivering initial mixture and withdrawing the purified product and the thickened one. Bellows-type member 5 is mounted for movement in the axial direction on a flexible support in body 1. Damping chamber 10 communicates with pipe 3 for withdrawing the purified product and is connected to the inner space of bellows-type member 5 the space being attached to the chamber of body 1 and to atmosphere through openings 7,8.
