FIELD: collection of oil from water surface. SUBSTANCE: oil intake device is mounted at aft bulkhead 1 of receiving and settling reservoir 2 and has movable pipe 3 located in upper part of which in box-shaped elbow 4 is screen 5 in the form of basket. With pipe 3 movable upward and screen 5 emerging from water, pipe 3 actuates leverage of arms 8 which release springs 9 turning screen 5. At the end of turn screen strikes against stop 16 and shakes off refuse and oil. With pipe 3 moving downward, screen 5 returns into initial position prior to submerging into water.
