FIELD: measuring facilities. SUBSTANCE: to step up flying safety of aircraft by raising authenticity of its speed measurements which is achieved by diagnosing serviceability of pneumatic lines, the method for measuring aircraft speed involves measuring total air and static pressures, comparing continuously the pressures in main and stand-by pneumatic lines, monitoring the value of mismatching between these pressures and commutation of switching channel with pneumatic lines under constant control and analysis of condition of pneumatic lines and information channel. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
