FIELD: prospecting hydrothermal deposits. SUBSTANCE: method involves the step of: taking subsurface samples on potential areas from centers of vulcanogenous rock blocks, investigating petrographic and petrochemical composition of the samples, analyzing them for copper content. Areas with anomaly reduced by at least 50% of copper content in comparison with a background one are considered to be perspective areas with regard to the presence of copper mineralization.
