FIELD: devices for the withdrawal of dust and contaminating particles from the flat, curvilinear and complex surfaces of bodies of instruments, machines and the equipment. SUBSTANCE: pistol-type vacuum cleaner has a body with a front and a rear longitudinal channels, a nozzle associated with the front channel, a trigger positioned outside of the body, and a filtering dust collector. Pistol-type vacuum cleaner has a change- over device and an additional channel transversely bridging the two longitudinal channels. The latters are positioned at different levels relative to each other, the front channel being positioned above the rear one. The transverse channel has a plastic plug and a change- over mounted in it. The change-over has a metal stem, a sealing ring, a valve with a rubber gland, a spring and a trigger. The stem is actuated by the trigger to move up or down with respect to the end of the transverse channel. Filtering dust collector is disposed aside of the body and associated with the rear channel. Filtering dust collector has a casing, a closure and a sleeve-type collector. The closure is removably fitted on the casing. A metallic screen is positioned between the closure and the casing.
