FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of mounting an interferometer in its initial position on a support before a tool in direction of it motion from a periphery till a center in a position, spaced from a cutting edge of the tool by a distance, equal to a radius of the part 2, being worked, or being more, than this radius; performing cutting-in and measuring (with use of the interferometers) a distance till a surface of a previous pass; after the interferometer is out of an extental the surface, had been worked over the previous pass, measuring a distance till a surface, had been worked at a current pass; correcting motion of the tool according to a change of the distance, being measured, from the interferometer till the surface of the part.
