FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: steel has additionally vanadium, copper, aluminium, nitrogen and phosphorus at the following ratio of components, % : carbon 0.3-0.4; silicon 1.5-2.5; manganese 0.1-0.4; chrome 22-30; nickel 16-22; copper 0.15-0.40; vanadium 0.12-0.28; molybdenum 0.25-0.45; nitrogen 0.04-0.08; phosphorus 0.06-0.15; aluminium 0.025-0.07, and iron - the rest. Conditions: chrome equivalent is chrome + 1.5 silicon + 10 (molybdenum-vanadium) = 28-41. Nickel equivalent is nickel + 30 (phosphorus + nitrogen) = 28-41. EFFECT: enhanced heat-resistance and exploitation stability at 950-1100 C of steel used for tools making. 2 tbl
