FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to heat-resistant austenite steel to manufacture parts operated under conditions of high temperatures, temperature variations, and corrosive media, e. g. when manufacturing chains for rotary furnaces serving for firing of clinker in cement industry. Heat-resistant steel is provided containing, wt %: carbon, 0.25-0.45; chromium, 25.0-27.0; nickel, 12.5-14.5; manganese, 6.0- 8.0; silicon, 1.5-2.5; aluminum, 0.3-0.6; niobium, 0.25-0.40; copper, 0.15-0.30; nitrogen, 0.15-0.30; boron, 0.008-0.015; vanadium, 0.15- 0.25; calcium, 0.005-0.015; iron, the balance. EFFECT: raised heat resistance to 1150 C and improved mechanical properties in cast state and wear resistance. 2 tbl
