FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: unit has processing chamber accommodating sprayer and vats for holding an acid solution and washing water the former vat having a tank for entry of an acid and a waste acid receiver attached to it. Sealing means are also provided in the vat. The processing chamber has an axle with a basket mounted on it for holding articles under polishing, the axle having mechanical means adapted to induce vibration and to move the basket. A barometric pipe is mounted in communication with the above-mentioned chamber, the pipe having an ejector arranged in its top portion. The bottom of the pipe is attached to a tank which accommodates a bubbling filter and means for disposal of waste gases. The barometric chamber is communicated with the ejector and the sprayer via a recycling pump. The bottom of the above-mentioned processing chamber has a return pipe positioned in it for connection with the barometric chamber. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of polishing. 2 cl, 11 dwg, 1 tbl
