FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has case, cylinder, side covers, shaft whose axis is parallel to the axis of the cylinder and shifted with respect to it, drum rigidly secured to the shaft and having guides for vanes positioning planes of which intersect axis of the shaft, and spark plugs. The case is provided with openings for supplying fuel and discharging of exhaust gases. Pins with rollers are secured to the side cover of each vane from the side nearest to axis of the shaft. The pins are kinematically connected to ring-shaped grooves provided on the covers centers of which are coaxially to the cylinder. Center line of ring-shaped groove which corresponds to trajectory of motion of the pin of each vane describe a curve which provides constant engaging of the vane with inner surface of the cylinder.
