FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ICE comprises stator housing and vaned rotor. Rotor hollow drum is fitted on rotor disk fitted on engine tail shaft. Master cam is rigidly secured on stator housing wall and inside rotor inner chamber. Rotor is fitted in stator cylinder groove with certain eccentricity to stator axis. Engine tail shaft passes through inner groove of master cam. Rollers are fitted on axles arranged on vane rod ends and stay in master cam annular races, the latter repeating in scale the stator cylinder inner surface shape. Vane revolve together with rotor and, at a time, move radially on rolling over master cam annular races to come in contact with the cylinder inner surface only by gas sealing inserts. Stator cylinder base is formed by two converging curves in the zone of circle contraction of arc, in the expansion zone of curve approximating to evolvent. Stator cylinder lining inner surface may be formed by two surfaces. Annular cylindrical surface is aligned with rotor. Toroidal surface is located with certain eccentricity to its axis. Vanes may have sector shape and be arranged at some angle to engine lengthwise axis. Sealing and gas sealing inserts may be made from graphite or cermet.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, longer life, improved operating performances.
