FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: system has protective ejecting members 7,8 axes of which are perpendicular to optical axis of nozzles 3,4 and oriented in the direction of motion of a vehicle. The nozzles are secured to exhaust pipe 5 of the vehicle so that their optical axis passes through center of radial openings 18 provided in diffuser insert 17 mounted within exhaust pipe 5. Nozzles 3,4 are provided with emitter and detector of optical radiation of a photoelectric smokemeter with optical members. A control unit of the smokemeter and indicator of smoking of exhaust gases are mounted on an instrument desk inside the vehicle. Each nozzle 3,4 can be provided with a heater. An actuator is made of magneto-liquid valve. EFFECT: decreased smoking of exhausts. 6 dwg
