FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: lubricant is repeatedly fed to a bearing in portions at frequency equal to the alternating current frequency supplied to a shaft rotary drive source in service. The lubrication process providing an oil wedge between a journal and a bearing by oil excess pressure at insufficient shaft speed is accomplished by a pressing force acting on a deformable member mounted coaxially to the journal surface. The excess pressure is produced in a particular sequence at start and stop of the shaft rotation , and the superexcess pressure - at loaded rotation. The excess pressure is formed in advance at the start and stop of the shaft rotation and according to a particular law providing constant fluid friction in the bearing. EFFECT: improved reliability. 6 dwg
