FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: group of parallel cylindrical gas manifolds 2 is mounted in an outlet upper window of vertical air feed box 1. The manifolds are positioned on one level and are interconnected by adapters 3 tightly adjacent to generatrices of manifolds 2. Each adapter 3 is made in the form of an arc with its convex part facing up. Air discharge holes 4 are made in side walls of each manifold 2 on the sections located above the generatrices to which adapters 3 are adjacent. Holes 4 located along the upper generatrix of manifold 2 are made vertical. The rest holes 4 are directed up at an angle to the vertical in planes perpendicular to axes of manifolds 2. Air flow holes 5 are made in each adapter 3. Holes 5 located in the plane of symmetry of adapter 3 parallel to the axes of manifolds 2 are made vertical. The rest holes 5 are directed up at an angle to the vertical in the planes perpendicular to the axes of manifolds 2. Hot gas and air jets are fed from bottom to top through holes 4 and 5 respectively. The gas is burnt in a diffusive flame. The resulting combustion products are heated by flue gases moving from the bottom and flowing around box 1. EFFECT: improved structure. 4 dwg
