FIELD: drying solutions and suspensions. SUBSTANCE: dryer has drying column open at the bottom, spraying device, inlet means for the heat transfer agent, perforated plate movably mounted under column to have partially dried material deposited on it. The dryer further has devices for the removal of exhausted heat transfer agent and devices for afterdrying the material deposited on the perforated plate. The dryer also has mixing chamber arranged to encompass the lower part of column and provided with individually adjustable devices for supplying heat transfer agent into the column.
