FIELD: thermal power engineering. SUBSTANCE: steam-air mixture enters vertical chamber 1 through lower branch pipe 8 brought inside chamber 1 to form an annular water header. The steam-air mixture passes through channels of a heat exchanger packing made in the form of a row of inclined plates 4 and is removed through vertical branch pipe 9. The steam-air mixture heats the water flowing down plates 4 into chutes 5. The water from the chutes enters water header 6. The width of each chute 5 is 0.8-1.2 of the distance between adjacent chutes 5 in the row. The side walls of chutes 5 are mounted at an angle to the longitudinal axis of chamber 1. EFFECT: improved structure. 3 cl, 4 dwg
