FIELD: sports arms. SUBSTANCE: arbalest has stock 3, more than one pair of bow arms 1, trigger 8 and a single bow-string 7, the arms of the last bow have cantilevers 6 mounted on the ends of the arms on which free ends the bow-string is fastened. The beginning of each part of the bow coincides with vertically positioned rod 2 fastened to the stock by one or two ends. The arbalest may have longitudinal rods located on both sides of the stock in parallel to the longitudinal axis of the arbalest with one fastened end and a cantilever on the opposite end on which the bow-string is fastened. The arms of the last bow may be located on both sides of the stock in parallel of the longitudinal axis of the arbalest, and the free ends of the arms of the bows are located in the front part of the arbalest and are connected by a bow-string through blocks of the first bow.
