ELECTRIC MACHINE BRUSH-COMMUTATOR ASSEMBLY Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2015589 C1

FIELD: electric machines. SUBSTANCE: assembly has a reactive box-type thread holder, pressure spring, reactive split brush composed of two layers. On the surfaces of layers opposite to contact ones a bevelled slot is formed extending in tangential direction. There is a projection of triangular phase on the bevelled surface of brush tapering layer bottom in its middle portion. The assembly furthermore has a rectangular patch one end of which is rigidly fixed to the brush tapering layer bottom and the other is slidably coupled with the projection. EFFECT: improved interaction of brush with commutator. 4 dwg
