SUBSTANCE: mechanized line comprises a row of adjacent hoppers with a movable bottom, inclined conveyors, a row of cob cleaners with belt conveyor underneath whose exit end is linked with receiving part of inclined belt conveyor for nongraded product, nongraded product accumulator, vegetable mass shredder, and quality cob accumulating hopper, sorting tables parallel to each other and provided with slatted discharge trays, belt conveyors positioned under sorting tables for nongraded cobs whose receiving ends are positioned under slatted trays while discharge ones, above belt conveyor disposed under cob cleaners, reversible belt conveyor for quality cobs installed along discharge ends of sorting tables with a provision for transferring said cobs into accumulating hopper or to drying section.
