FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming ricks by placing green mass by layers on inflow channel which delivers heated air from bottom up. Said air is enriched with ammonia and carbon dioxide produced by hydrolysis of ammonia salts with alkaline reagent located under green mass. The latter is covered with film sheets and dried with electric current, first D.C. then A.C. Heated air is delivered from periphery towards the center and moisture is removed through the channel in the center of the rick. A clearance is provided between the film covering and the mass. The method is realized in the device comprising an inflow channel, a covering and a solar collector consisting of a black pipe installed on a transparent pipe, and a ventilation device. The pipes of the solar collector are made in the form of two cones whose apices face upward. Outer transparent cone is perforated in its top part and has lips 21 and 22. Inflow channel is made as cavity 4 formed by upper perforated plate 3 and lower mirror film 28. Installed in the center is a plate-like container 1 with central hole 29 and perforated dielectric draw-out pipe 6 with shells 7 connected to current source 9. Secured coaxially on shells with a provision for vertical movement are electrodes 10 in the form of perforated discs of which the upper one carries plate-like vessel 14, and a roof in the form of a convergent lens 12. Plate-like vessel 14 and electrode 10 are positioned in the focal plane of said lens 12. Ventilation device is made as a biconvex lens 27 secured above the end of pipe 8, and a heat-collecting member disposed in the focus of lens 27.
