SUBSTANCE: composition for producing artificial amber contains solution of polyglycolmaleinate phthalate in unsaturated monomer or in oligomer (100 mass parts), colophony (25-100 mass parts) and succinic acid (1-7 mass parts). All the components are mixed, thus prepared mixture is hardened at room temperature. The latter process is carried out by γ irradiation, irradiation dose being 8-20 Mrad.
