FIELD: production of ornamental articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary selection of about 10 mm size amber pieces; charging raw material into slightly heated compression molds; heating in compression mold without access of air to temperature not in the excess of 140 C; pressing under pressure not exceeding 100 atm, with following cooling in natural conditions.
