FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanical converter is located in a floating body, the converter has an inertial pendulum which, in turn, has a spring suspension and is mounted for vertical reciprocating motion and is kinematically connected to an electric generator. The body is made in the form of a sealed cylindrical capsule which upper part is bounded by a hemisphere of radius equal to the radius of the cylindrical part, the lower part - by a sphere of radius larger than that of the hemisphere. Guides for pendulum movement are made on the inner surface of the cylindrical part. The electric generator is kinematically linked by a ball-screw transmission with a reduction gear. A dynamic inertial power accumulator with an electromechanical bilateral drive is mounted in the lower part of the capsule, the drive is connected to the ball-screw transmission, the reduction gear-commutator and an auxiliary reduction gear. The pendulum fundamental frequency comparable with the characteristic oscillation frequency of the capsule in the water. EFFECT: improved structure. 4 cl, 2 dwg
