FIELD: graphitizing furnaces. SUBSTANCE: furnace has housing with core, where carboniferous articles are placed in heat-insulated layer. Volatile afterburning device is embedded in heat-insulated layer in vertical position and is formed by axially aligned members. Upper part of device is defined by perforated carboniferous tube and lower part is formed by wooden continuous member made, for example from wood wastes. Device is located in lateral layer of heat-insulation and spaced from core by distance equal to 0.2-0.5 of heat-insulation layer thickness. EFFECT: high quality of graphitized articles. 2 cl, 1 dwg
