SUBSTANCE: submerged evaporator has circulator of specific design extended to height H equal to 0.5 to 3 evaporator diameters, first and second distributors arranged on either side of tube bank; liquid coolant circulator has separators installed vertically downstream of inlet holes along steam-liquid mixture flow, mounted on support that functions as liquid level damper and is essentially perforated sheet installed on truncated perforated segments; eliminator is placed upstream of coolant vapor discharge pipe. EFFECT: intensified heat transfer due to increased coolant speed over heat-transfer surface and utilization of entire surface under developed boiling conditions afforded by increase in coolant circulation ratio to 1.2-3.5; improved coolant distribution over heat-transfer surface, automated evaporator supply under all conditions. 4 cl, 3 dwg
