FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic equipment, particularly, to purification and low-temperature rectification of mixes, and may be used in chemical and petrochemical industry. Proposed method comprises feeding the flow of primary krypton concentrate in primary concentrate line, heating said flow consecutively in recuperative heat exchanger and electric heater, feeding the flow into reactor and oxidising hydrocarbons contained in concentrate. Then, the mix is cooled in recuperative heat exchanger and water cooler, subjected to adsorption removal of impurities and cooled down in rectification column boiler coil and low-temperature heat exchanger. After cooling in low-temperature heat exchanger, primary krypton concentrate is additionally cooled down via heat exchange with liquid coolant and, finally, it is fed into rectification column to produce krypton-xenon mix. Invention proposes also the device to this end.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability, reduced power consumption.
