FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in rheographically determining hemodynamic parameters after fasting and then 15, 60 and 120 min after having standard breakfast (590.1 kcal) and then judging whether inflammatory process is in progress in duodenum from nature of postprandial hemodynamic reaction. If parameters of cardiac ejection increase by 15 % and above relative to initial level and overall peripheral vascular resistance decreases, normal state of duodenal mucosa is diagnosed. Whenever cardiac ejection decreases with growing peripheral resistance, or central hemodynamic parameters remain unchanged, pronounced or atrophic duodenitis is diagnosed.
