FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gearing of a drive reduction gear is made with beyond-the-pole engagement relative to the gear axis. The engagement parameters satisfy the conditions in terms of end angles of tooth profiles of the gear and the wheel, the angle of deviation of the normal at the point of contact of engaging teeth and the friction coefficient of the engagement. This provides one of particular working modes of the drive depending on the direction of drive inertial forces and resistance moments. EFFECT: widened scope of functionality. 7 dwg
