FIELD: load lifting mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: winch has housing accommodating two rigidly mounted cylindrical barrels with rope reeved in them. Located in barrels are concentric shafts carrying rollers kinematically connected with each other by gear wheels. Gear wheels are rotatably seated on shafts and are loaded relative to the latter by preliminarily tensioned springs. Rope is reeved and passed round barrels in such a way that shaft of first barrel is spring-loaded in direction opposite to rope coiling and shaft of second barrel in direction of coiling. When roller seated on shaft of second barrel thrusts against tensioned rope in section between barrels, it stops to rotate, compresses spring and thus keeps rope constantly tensioned. Winch is provided with special gear intended to ensure kinematic connection of gear wheels with drive. EFFECT: improved reliability of winch operation. 2 cl, 5 dwg
