SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lifting and transport engineering and can be used to lay wire on the winch drum when cleaning the pump and compressor pipes of oil wells from paraffin. Device for laying the flexible traction body on the winch drum contains a base, a drive, a carriage with a reciprocating mechanism. Drive is made in the form of a motor connected to the base with a reducer. Carriage is mounted on the gear shaft with the possibility of contact with the keys connected to the shaft by means of rollers located on the axles connected to the carriage rigidly connected to the spindle. Device comprises a biscuit entering a groove forming a continuous helical line on the cylindrical outer surface of the cam positioned coaxially with respect to the spindle and carriage. Said cam is coupled with a gear wheel meshing with a pinion located on an axis associated with the base and meshed simultaneously with another gear fixed to the shaft of the reduction gear, its the number of teeth differs from the number of teeth connected to the cam of the gear wheel. Traction body is located in the groove of the corresponding part of the base and is deprived of the possibility to move in the axial direction with respect to the drum.

EFFECT: ensuring the orderly laying of a flexible traction body on the winch drum to increase its life and reliability.
