FIELD: leather manufacturing. SUBSTANCE: leather is tanned in one bath. After additional tanning with chromium containing tanning agent, the semi-product is subjected to the first-stage dyeing with acid dyes at 20-30 C, followed by tanning with synthetic dyes in which are introduced alums in the amount of 0.05-0.12% (by aluminum oxide) and formate-and-alcohol plasticizer in the amount of 0.15-0.35%. Then follow neutralization, second-stage dyeing with direct dyes at 55-60 C, and fat-liquoring. EFFECT: increased efficiency of the process. 2 tbl
