FIELD: textile mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: combing tool has polygonal equilateral body mounted in holder. Polygonal body has opening with shape conforming to holder shape and provided with all-metal saw-shaped fillet. Body is formed as a set of separate flat members fixed one with respect to the other by means of end members. Saw-shaped fillets of each face of flat member have different parameters. Each face of polygonal equilateral body is made concave. Each face of body is constructed from separate lengths of all-metal saw web.
