FIELD: combing equipment. SUBSTANCE: combing unit has main drum, knives, and pneumatic chamber for removal of refuse. Combing roll is mounted on catching drum with hat belt above conical funnel which is communicated with combing roll. Pneumatic chamber for removal of refuse is positioned above combing roll and equipped with adjustable knives. One wall of conical funnel is made concentric with respect to main drum and is equipped with toothed fittings. Perforated drum has pressure roll. Perforated drum and pressure roll are connected to main drum. Perforated drum and conical funnel are positioned between feeding and main drums. EFFECT: increased efficiency in processing filaments and reduced number of hats in movable hat belt of cotton combing machine. 1 dwg
