FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: warp regulator has backrest 1, which is lowered, when tension of warp threads is increased. As a result arm 6 of three-arm lever 3 and tie-rod 7 are lifted, three-armed lever 27 and double-armed lever 29 are turned clockwise, lever 28 is turned counterclockwise and rollers 23 are turned relative to disks 19 and 20. In this case transmission ratio of speed variator is increased since rollers 23 and 24 are disposed at larger radius of drive disk 19 and at lesser radius of disk 20. Transmission ratio of radii of these disks exceeds 1. It allows rotational speed of beam 12 and wheel disposed under beam to be increased. It results in increased feed of warp threads. When tension of warp threads is reduced, backrest 1 is lifted under the action of spring 5 and arm 6 and tie-rod 7 are lowered to cause turning of three-arm lever 27 and double-armed lever 29 counterclockwise and three-arm lever 28 clockwise until rollers 23 and 24 are displaced to another position. In this case transmission ratio of speed variator is decreased and slack of warp threads is reduced until loom up tension is achieved.
