DOOR LATCH Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: houses and transport means doors protection. SUBSTANCE: door latch has a cross-bar, located in a body, and a cam, engaged with it. A rod passes inside of the door front side and rear side handles with cover plate. The latch has a mean of additional locking. The mean has a fixer with a leg, two fixing and one stopping projections of different height, located on inner surface of a cover plate of the door rear side handle. Rotation of the handles during latch opening and closing is limited by the fixer leg turning in sector, formed by the fixing projections. During additional closing of the latch the handles rotation is limited by grooves, formed by the fixing projections and the stopping one. EFFECT: latch is used for doors closing protection. 2 cl, 1 dwg
