FIELD: geodesy, etc. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a theodolite, a joint to fix a range finder on the theodolite, a cross link, an assembly head, connected with the central part of the cross link; a joint of an assembly head inclination around horizontal axis; a ring, fixed on a case of viewing tube of the theodolite; two platforms, made with capability to turn with respect to each other. In the case the upper platform is rigidly connected with the assembly head and the lower one - with the central part of the cross link.
