THERMAL RELAY Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2017250 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: thermal relay has element of remote kinematic coupling between thermosensitive fuse element and two-position change-over switch. Specified element of remote kinematic coupling jointly functions as return torsion spring and is manufactured in the form of torsion bar, in particular, from spring wire. One end of it is clamped in medium of meltable substance, the other end is attached to rotary axle which fixes two-position change-over switch in working position. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability of operation of thermal relay for monitoring of high without-bound temperatures for inspection of objects located inside liquid medium, under conditions of enhanced vibration, shaking and impact loads. 2 cl, 3 dwg
