ELECTRIC CONNECTOR Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: electronics and electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric connector is made of two parts: plug 1 and socket 2. Each part has body produced from dielectric with similar contact elements 3 of zigzag shape. Contact elements have double thickness and bevel 4 which end 5 is bent through 180 deg. They enter each other with touching along bevel 4 and rest against opposite part of contact - strap 6 to form package of triple thickness. Contact elements 3 can be fabricated for final connection over bevels with the aid adhesive, for instance. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability and efficiency. 3 dwg
