FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: connector has plug and socket, each provided with dielectric shroud 1 accommodating similar zigzag-shaped contact members 2 which have double thickness and bevel 3 bent out through 180 deg. on end 4; they are mating along bevel 3 and stopped by opposing contact jumper 5 to form triple-thickness stack. Contact members 2 are flush- mounted in shrouds 1 of plug and socket. Plug and socket shrouds are similar in design and joined to one another. EFFECT: improved reliability of contact. 2 dwg
