FIELD: storage of succulent products. SUBSTANCE: device has side guard with reinforced foam plastic filler coated with insulating layer of polymeric resin and shell of mirror film polymeric material. Device has polymeric insert, perforated bottom plate, supports and base connected with side guard. Base has reinforced foam plastic filler enclosed in insulating layer and mirror shell. Located in base under reinforcement is perforated plate connected with supports installed on damping spacers. Base is disposed in bottom plate and base-side guard joint zone is rounded. Shape of bottom plate is similar to that of base. Side guards have rounded end faces. Appliance for production of reinforced foam plastic filler has removable forms and means for discharge of drained matter. Forms are made in form of vessels inserted in each other. Inner vessel is in form of flexible chamber with inlet and valve. Outer vessel is made in form of rigid truncated cone with antiadhesive inner surface.
