FIELD: fireproofing materials. SUBSTANCE: composition has, %: 50% aqueous polyvinylacetate dispersion 10-16; 5% aqueous solution of ureamelaminoformaldehyde resin 13-18, carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt 0.20-0.35; calcium carbonate 20-27; water glass 3-7; aerosil 0.3-1.5; dicyandiamide 4-10; kaolin 1-4; waste of zircon production 12-18; basalt superfine fiber (fiber length is 1-3 mm) 1-5, and water - the rest. Composition is made by wearing up to particle size 90 microns (not more of all components), except for fiber. Then fiber is loaded by portions and stirred up to complete homogeneity. Properties: mass loss of sample is 4.5%, mass loss in water for 3 days is 8-9. Composition is used for coating of electric cables. EFFECT: enhanced quality of composition. 1 tbl
