FIELD: investigation of oil and gas wells. SUBSTANCE: method includes concurrent measurement of pressure in operating well and flow temperature, and study of variation of fluid composition in wellbore and inflow profile within perforation interval at different dynamic pressures. In this case, diagram of composition variation in wellbore on section above perforation interval is registered and value of operating part of exposed effective formation thickness is measured with absence of cross-flow determined by, e.g. , thermometry, and at the moment of attainment of maximum productive formation thickness the saturation pressure is determined by pressure diagram in that point of depth where change of path width of diagram fluctuation is larger than, or equal to, two values of path width of diagram fluctuation of composition variation on underlying section from beginning of fluctuation rise. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
